What I'm reading this week.

Vannessa: How do you find your style as a couple? I work in Interior Design and, to the displeasure of my husband, have always taken the reins when it comes to decorating our home. Recently, we bought a house and I couldn't wait to take the lead once again. Then, one lazy day, I was watching an episode of "Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis", featuring a couple in which the husband was never given a say when it came to decorating. He was miserable. The house just didn't reflect his style. Suddenly, I had a change of heart. Why not treat my husband as a client while we decorate our new house? I decided to sit down with him and interview him about what he would like our house to be. What style does he like? What doesn't he like? Why not allow him to be a part of this process? This is either going to be the best or the worst idea I have ever had. I guess we'll find out! Meanwhile, I invite you to follow along as we work on our house and learn to find our style as a couple.
